Install the new Onlime app (2026)
The new Onlime app for Windows is a complete rebuild with improved speed, simplicity, and a refreshed design. Follow the steps below to install it.
1. Download the installer
2. Run the installer
Open the installer file and click Install to begin.
The installation will download and install the required components. This may take a few minutes.
3. Set up Onlime
Once the installation is complete, the setup wizard opens. Click Get started to begin.
Sign in with the account you created on Onlime.dk ↗.
You will see a brief explanation of how automatic backup works. Learn more about folder backup ↗.
Select the folders you want to back up automatically. For example, Pictures, Desktop, and Documents. You can change this later and add more folders ↗.
Choose whether to enable Onlime Sync ↗. This can also be done later from Settings.
Once you have completed the setup, Onlime is ready to use. Open the Onlime menu on Windows ↗.
Install the classic Onlime app
If you prefer the classic Onlime app, you can install that version as well. Follow the steps below.
1. Download the installer

Open the installer file in the Downloads folder. Follow the installation wizard to complete the installation.
3. Set up Onlime
Once the installation is complete, open Onlime and follow the setup wizard:
Click Get started.
