How to Use Onlime with AirLivedrive (For Windows)

Access your Onlime cloud storage as if it were a local drive on your Windows computer with AirLiveDrive

The Benefits of Using AirLiveDrive and Onlime are:

  • You avoid your folders and files in Onlime occupying more than, for example, 3 GB

  • Files are downloaded when you need them

  • You can choose to permanently store specific folders/files

  • You can share large folders with other users and collaborate

Important setting for business users: You must set a storage limit for your user account at https://cloud.onlime.dk/biz before AirLiveDrive can be used.

How to Use Onlime Sync with AirLiveDrive:

  1. Download and install AirLiveDrive: https://www.airlivedrive.com/en/

  2. Open AirLiveDrive and click "Add Cloud Drive."

  3. Double-click on "Onlime" in the overview.

  4. Go to Onlime Account Security: https://cloud.onlime.dk/web/secure and click "Generate."

  5. Copy your temporary security key and paste it into the dialog box in AirLiveDrive.

  6. Now, Onlime Sync has been added as a local drive!

  7. For optimal performance, you may want to be aware of some settings in AirLiveDrive:

    1. Click the gear icon on the left in the menu and set AirLiveDrive to start automatically when you log in to your computer.

    2. Onlime in AirLiveDrive functions best when configured as the default local disk. We therefore recommend using the default settings.

    3. If you wish, you can use the gear icon next to Onlime to set the amount of space Onlime is allowed to use (cache). Try some of the presets to suit your needs (e.g., faster transfer in real time if you frequently collaborate in folders with other users).
