Here we explain how to take a screenshot on your device.
Take a screenshot on a Windows PC
The procedure depends on the version of Windows you have
Windows 10: Open the Snip & Sketch program on Windows 10
Windows Vista, 7+8: Open the Snipping Tool programClick New
Drag and drop the area of the screen you want to take a screenshot of.
Save and attach the screenshot in an email or message to us.
Take a screenshot on Mac
Hold down the cmd + shift + 3 keys simultaneously to record the entire screen.
Hold down the cmd + shift + 4 keys simultaneously to drag and select a specific area on the screen.
The screenshot is now saved to the Desktop. You can attach it in an email or a message to us.
Take screenshot on iOS (iPhone & iPad)
The procedure depends on the device you have:
iPhone / iPad without the round home button below the screen: Press the lock and volume buttons simultaneously
iPhone / iPad with the round home button below the screen: Press the lock and home buttons simultaneously
The screenshot appears temporarily in the bottom left corner. Tap on it to edit or share directly
The screenshot is automatically saved on the device in the Photos app. Find the screenshot, and you can share the screenshot with us:
Take a screenshot on Android
Open the screen you want to take a picture of
The procedure depends on your phone:
Press the power button and the volume-down button simultaneously
If that does not work, press and hold the power key for a few seconds. Then tap Screenshot.
If none of these methods work, go to the phone manufacturer's support website for assistance.
